Flagship projects
Project in the Alzette-Belval conurbation
The housing supply within the French-Luxembourgish border territory being insufficient, new home construction is required, notably that of social housing, in the context of a coherent urban planning process. Within the perimeter of the Alzette-Belval Public Development Agency (Etablissement Public d’Aménagement) on the French side, 2000 new homes will be built from 2020 onward – of which 400 will be situated in the Mine neighbourhood in Boulange, 500 in Redange and 120 in Russange. One of the priorities for the new homes will be energy efficiency.
Project in the Longwy Conurbation Community (CAL)
With a considerable population rise within the territory of Longwy, a local housing programme was adopted by the CAL in 2013. Within this programme, the zones of Herserange-Concorde and Longwy-Voltaire are recognised as priorities for urban renewal. This territory is part of the New National Programme for Urban Renewal (NPNRU).

A2E is a French-Italian project for optimising the energy efficiency of Alpine public buildings, based on the cross-border exchange of experiences. The goal of the project is to identify innovative technical solutions to prefigure sustainable building of the future. It is financed by Interreg V ALCOTRA.

Within the Greater Region, the GReENEFF project aims to promote environmentally-friendly development in the field of sustainable urban planning and highly energy efficient social housing. Emphasis is notably placed on global protection of the climate. The project forms part of the Interreg V Grande Région programming.
