Le titre du congrès "sept territoires dans un même train" se réfère aux 5 cantons suisses concernés (Argovie, Bâle-Campagne, Bâle-Ville, Jura et Soleure) et aux partenaires du Baden-Württemberg ainsi que de la Région Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine. Le focus du congrès porte sur les liaisons transfrontalières dans l’espace trinational, sous l’angle tant de la mobilité des personnes que de la logistique des marchandises.

Articulant une exposition et un colloque international, il accueillera à la faculté d’Architecture, à la faculté de Philosophie et Sciences sociales de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles et au siège de l’Organisation mondiale des douanes des chercheurs, des artistes et des experts qui discuteront de la technologisation croissante du contrôle des personnes, des marchandises ou des capitaux qui franchissent les frontières.
