Cette nouvelle année, ils ont décidé d'organiser un colloque relatif à la mise en place de partenariats transfrontaliers franco-espagnols comme leviers de développement d'une coopération avec les pays du Sud. L’événement a lieu le 6 avril 2018 au sein du Collège EEI de Bayonne.
