At the core of European Maritime Day is a two-day conferencein Svendborg, Denmark, on 30-31 May 2024. The event is organised by the European Comission and the Danish Maritime Authority.
On May 30 and June 1, the 63rd conference of the Société des Anglicistes de l’Enseignement Supérieur (SAES) on “Borders and Movements” will take place with members of UniGR-CBS from the universities of Lorraine, Trier, Luxembourg, and Saarland University, at the University of Lorraine in Nancy.
Experts participating in this workshop will explore these cross-border inequalities using the example of the Greater Region, often cited as a model of successful European integration.
On May the 27th-28th From Small Beginnings… in collaboration with CRASH (Canada Region Anti-Eugenic Scholarship Hub) and ELEP (Eugenic Legacies Education Project), will be pulling together a virtual symposium that over two days will look at the theme of Immigration, and Eugenics, to mark the centennials of the passing of the Johnson-Reed Immigration Act of 1924, the subsequent establishing of the US Border Patrol force a few days later, and a week or so later the passing of the Indian Citizenship Act.
